Straight to the screen you want

Q: Does Syno Manager have a URL scheme?

Yes. synomanager:// opens the app on a specific screen. Dashboard, storage, system, network, apps, backup, files and wake each have one, so Siri Shortcuts, Android launcher shortcuts and automation apps can jump straight to what you want.

Syno Manager registers the synomanager:// URL scheme, so a Siri phrase, a launcher shortcut or an automation app can open the app exactly where you need it instead of on the home screen. On the Mac, Siri and the Shortcuts app see Syno Manager natively, with no URL to type at all.

A deliberate limit

Why reboot and shutdown only open the app

They take you to the power controls. They do not restart or shut down anything on their own.

A shortcut is a thing you can hit by accident - a mis-tapped launcher icon, a misheard voice phrase, an automation that fires on the wrong trigger. Restarting a NAS disconnects everyone using it and interrupts whatever it was doing. Those two facts do not belong together, so the link stops at the screen and the existing confirmation still applies.

Every other link is safe by nature, because all it does is show you something. That is why the rest are one tap and these two are not.

Using them

On each platform

iOS - Siri and Shortcuts

Open Shortcuts and create a new shortcut.
Add the Open URLs action.
Enter the link, for example synomanager://storage.
Name it something you would say out loud - "Check my NAS storage".
Add it to the home screen, or just ask Siri.

Android - launchers and automation

Most launchers can place a shortcut that opens a URL.
Automation apps - Tasker, MacroDroid and the like - can open one from any trigger.
An <a href="synomanager://system"> link in a note or a page works too.

Which NAS it opens on follows your Launch Behavior setting. A shortcut chooses a screen, not a device - so with "Last NAS I used" set, synomanager://storage shows the storage of whichever NAS you were last on.

macOS

Siri and Shortcuts, natively

On the Mac, Syno Manager does not need a URL at all. It registers three actions directly with Apple's App Intents, so Siri and the Shortcuts app see Syno Manager as an app with its own vocabulary, the same way they see Apple's own apps.

Restart and shut down still confirm twice. Siri or Shortcuts asks first - "Open Syno Manager to restart the NAS? Nothing is sent to the NAS yet - you confirm it in the app" - and the app's own power controls ask again. A voice command that reboots a NAS on the first misheard word is not a feature worth having.

Build your own automations on top of these. Because they are ordinary Shortcuts actions, Open a section drops into any shortcut you build - run it on a schedule, trigger it from a Home Hub, or chain it after something else - exactly like an action from any other Mac app.
