Q: Can I run a scheduled task manually?

Yes, for tasks DSM allows to be triggered - each of those has a Run Now. You can also enable or disable any task without opening DSM.

Q: Can I change how long the NAS waits before shutting down on battery?

No. The app reports UPS state; the shutdown policy is set in DSM under Hardware and Power, where the consequences of the setting are spelled out.

Users

DSM accounts

Every account on the NAS, with its display name, its description and its email address where one is set. An Expired chip marks accounts DSM has disabled.

What you can do

Add a user with the details DSM asks for.
Edit an existing account.
Change a password.
Delete an account you created.

System accounts cannot be deleted. admin, guest and the service accounts DSM creates for its own packages are detected and protected. Removing one of those breaks the NAS in ways that are tedious to undo, and a phone is not the place to find that out.

Task Scheduler

What is scheduled, and what runs next

Every task DSM has, whether it is enabled, what it does and when it next fires.

The task name and its type - a Hyper Backup task, a user-defined script, a recycle-bin clean-up - each labelled with what kind of thing it is.
What it actually does. A script task shows the command it runs; a backup task shows its description.
Next run, as a date and time.
A switch per task to enable or disable it without opening DSM.
Run Now on tasks DSM allows to be triggered on demand.

Run Now runs it now. A scheduled script that expects to run at 3am on an idle NAS will behave differently at 6pm during a file copy. The button does what it says.

Power

The UPS

UPS status with model, charge, connection mode and estimated runtime

Present when a UPS is attached. One card, everything on it.

Shown	Meaning
Manufacturer and model	As the UPS reports itself.
Status	Online on mains, or on battery.
Charge	Percentage and a bar. Amber below 50%, red below 20%.
Mode	How the NAS is talking to it - USB, or over the network.
Runtime	How long the UPS estimates it can hold the load.
Enabled	Whether UPS support is switched on in DSM at all.

Charge feeds the health badge. A UPS that is discharging shows up on the home screen without you opening this tab - which is the point, because by the time you think to check, you may not have long.

The fourth sub-view is Settings, embedded here so you can change the polling interval or the accent colour without leaving the tab. It is the same screen the gear icon opens.

Can I add or edit DSM users from the app?

Why is the Power sub-view missing?

Because no UPS is attached, or UPS support is switched off in DSM. The app hides screens for hardware that is not there.
